Typing English is easier for me.
According to my memory, the settings:
(1) June - August (?) 1981
It's purely the News department office as the background. This setting was set up in line with TVB's propaganda 翡翠六月五條龍, 伴你消暑在家中. Two anchors (started from this time?)
(2) Sept - Dec 1981
The setting was changed to a world map in gray colour, with the TVB logo in the middle.
(3) 1982
Three news anchors started. The back is basically in blue colour with patterned TVB logos and a white strip (TVB News logo) between the male and female anchors. Remember the logo was rolled up and the TV set came out for live news? The bench was white in colour as well.
The news illustrations were NOT in “shoulder boxes” but covered the whole back of the anchor (chroma key), and therefore you could see the anchor turned back and talk to a person.
(4) 1983
Better illustrate the setting with a diagram
TV = Monitor for illustrations
++++ = Photo of HK night scene.
The night scene photo part was only used in the 6:30pm main news.
At that time, I thought they were lazy and only cut the night scene pic for the 1984 setting.
